My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at Bwindi last month. We obviously had a good look at the website before booking the accommodation but we still didn't know what to expect since "backpackers" can mean a lot of things. When we got to Bwindi we were very positively surprised! Seith (the owner) turned it into a beautiful and cozy backpackers.

Due to the road conditions the lodge is not too easy to reach. But staff can pick you up from Kisoro (closer=cheaper) or from Kabale. We had to pay in advance for accommodation and all activities we wanted to do, which we found unusual at first. But everything paid off well and there were no problems. The offered activities are very nice and different from many other lodges since the lodge owner works together with the local community so that the tourists also get an image of the life of the people living there. The rooms are clean, basic but charming setting. We found the food very good. All in all very recommendable for travellers who like to experience things!

It is the a good place with magnificent looking of Bwindi national park. the staff is good and the service is also good. It is a near by area to track most of the groups of Rushaga and Nkuringa. I really appreciate and love to visit it all time.
Excellent location and fantastic view overlooking Bwindi NP. Good food. Pick up and drop off in Kabale was well organised. This was offseason so the place was not very busy. Compared to other lodges, great value.
